IMPORTANT INFO FOR ALL PLAYERS

IMPORTANT INFO FOR ALL PLAYERS

SCOREBENCH DUTY

Harbour requires all teams to perform score bench duty on an alternating basis. All Dolphinz players will be rostered for one or two duties over the course of a season by their Team Coordinator (TC). These will be either before or after your game. If you're not available for a rostered duty you must arrange a swap with a team mate and let your TC know when the swap is confirmed. Not turning up to a duty will result in Harbour fining you $50.

TEAM COORDINATORS

Each Dolphinz Team has an assigned TC: TEAM COORDINATOR whom managers the team, and may also act as TEAM CAPTAIN.

If you have leadership skills and want to be considered for this important role please email the Dolphinz Management Committee at dolphinzbasketball@gmail.com

DOLPHINZ MIXED MINI-TOURNAMENTZ

DOLPHINZ BASKETBALL CLUB runs a MIXED MINI-TOURNAMENT periodically ...

MIXED MINI-TOURNAMENTS as the name suggests are all members ranked by grade and placed in evenly matched mixed teams of men and women with an emphasis of fun, family and enjoyment. It's a great way to meet other Club members that you don't normally play alongside.

Tournaments are multiple fast-paced games, and may be all in one evening replacing the usual MONDAY CLUB NITEZ, or spread over several weeks as schedule permits and usually inbetween seasons to keep up the fitness and add value to club membership.

Games consist of 2 x 10min halves

Tournaments are in a 5-team format with 4 games per team and a Duty/ Score-bench responsibility for 1 game.

All games are played at the NZ Breakers facility, 7 Atlas Place, Mairangi Bay (off Constellation Drive, 2 minutes from the Northern Motorway).

Non-members are welcome if places permit at $10.00 per player (per Tournament night).
